Spiders!

    I'm not sure if this has to do with last winter's heavy rainfall in southern California, but there has been a population explosion in my backyard. Virtually everywhere I look there are these black, grey, and yellow spiders. On a single day I counted more than a dozen of them. It's strange, I've never seen so many at one time. Its provided me with an excellent opportunity to take some interesting photos. For these photos I used my trusty old Olypmus OM-1 with a Zuiko 75-150 zoom lens. I also made use of an Osawa close-up filter which allows me to get close to the subject. Pictures were all shot with Fuji 200 speed film.

More Vocabulary Tests: Adjectives

Here are some more vocabulary tests designed to assess ESL students' knowledge of adjectives. I've been using these assessments as a means to review words that have been taught within the classroom. The hope is that these vocabulary words will at one point be employed in the students' writing and oral communication.
